The Latin American Wind Energy Association, LAWEA; is proud to present the official website of the second Latin American Wind Power Conference and Exhibition WIND EXPO PANAMA 2009.
Giving continuity to the development of the first version of WIND EXPO held in the city of Guada- lajara, Mexico in 2008, and in which the fulfilling of our goal of "Unveiling the Power of Latin America’s Wind” was a success, LAWEA now invites you to join us at Panama City in our WIND EXPO 2009, to continue with our mission, strengthen the Latin American Wind Power business.
The world is now aware of the huge potential and the opportunities of Wind Power generation in Latin America. That is why now we are going to focus on this WIND EXPO 2009 to find successful strategies that will enable us “Integrating Wind Power into the Latin American Energy Matrix”, the main goal of this show.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We are calling companies, organizations, research centers, universities and people involved in the field of Wind Energy in Latin America to send us an abstract with your proposal to participate as speakers in this important conference, in order to show your experiences and share your projects to a high-qualified audience. The main topic of this year conferences is:

The main deadlines to consider for the conferences of WIND EXPO Panama 2009 are as follows:
Deadline for abstracts reception: April 24.
Acceptance notification: May 15.
Deadline for speaker’s registration: July 31.
Final presentation reception: July 31.
Conferences opening: September 2.
All the abstracts will be reviewed by our scientific committee and the best of them will be selected for a 15-minute oral presentation in the WIND EXPO 2009 conferences. The works that in consideration of our scientific committee should be presented in the Poster Session will also be accepted.
